i read this really really funny book last month but then i gave it to my dad and i forgot the title. but yeah, i’ve been really into jack pendarvis lately. i particularly recommend your body is changing.
yesterday i played scrabble and used the word ‘squirtin’ for 87 points. i think it’s the grossest word in the english language. truncating the gerund really rounds out its grossness for me, even though it’s not strictly ‘scrabble-legal.’

Sitting on a new couch in Greenpoint with Josh and Aikta playin tetris and looking at apartments. I can feel myself getting back into the swing of New York things and it’s great. Orientation for the New School starts on the 19th! I am sleepy.

Watched two Matthew Maconahay romantic comedies in a row this evening.
robert downey is really getting himself out there these days
I saw Sherlock Holmes today. It was a pretty good movie, especially with Downey’s suggestion that it be read as the story of a very intelligent and masculine homosexual detective. It makes all the Holmes-Watson interactions so delicate and poignant! The story of a man who simply can’t stop loving another man, despite their surface incompatibility. They share a love for adventure and scientific inquiry! Also explains why he never hooks up with that hot lady who follows him around for basically the whole movie.
